As a beautiful memorial for a young girl, we were commissioned by The Discovery Museum to fabricate a shade sail protecting a scenic lookout at Presidio Point, Sausalito. The Mission Blue Butterfly symbolizes the precious and fragile life we live. Endangered and nearly extinct, the Mission Blue inhabits a special Bay Area location adjacent the Golden Gate Bridge and Marin headlands. Visit Lucy’s Lookout next time your at the museum you too will see the Mission Blue.
